Over the past decades, Bert was fulfilling key-positions in company capital project performance enhancement programs which led to significant project performance improvements (Dow Chemical, BP, OMV and Petrom).
Bert took the lead in building a fully integrated project organization, gated work-process, and implementation strategy with the OMV/Petrom organization. This has been instrumental in the overall success of OMV/Petrom’s project portfolio, ranging from medium large capital intensive projects to Mega-Project definitions, the full range.
This resulted in OMV/Petrom being recognized by “Independent Project Analysis” (IPA) as best performing company (project definition and delivery) worldwide in the relevant “Industry Benchmarking Consortium Conference” across their entire project portfolio.
